Date of Hodgepodge Society Induction: 2006

Bio: I was born into a family of voluntary gypsies. Neither of my parents were gypsies by birth, they were, in fact, Dutch-Puerto Rican, but they felt the gypsy way was the way for them. Whether they chose it because of their romanticized dream of a nomadic lifestyle, or else they just thought jingly clothes were cool, it became the life for me. So that I could help feed my father’s ostrich egg addiction, I would dance for pennies and Fisky’s cat treats outside the shops and taverns that catered to high society. It was there that I discovered my passion for the arts of humorous dance. For I found that it was only through humorous dance, that the world may soon one day be united…in an awkward series of thrusting dancing motions. I was inducted into the Hodgepodge Society shortly after finishing my 4 and a half hour interpretive dance set to the theme from the early 90’s television sitcom Harry and the Henderson’s. My groundbreaking and stylized “dittery-dittery she-bangs” not only redefined the way the world looks at the concept of a Bigfoot creature being integrated into a suburban, middle-class family- it also enthralled, amused, and delighted Hodgepodge Society members coming out of a whorehouse in Dublin. I am currently the Hodgepodge Society ambassador to Northern Ireland.
