Brad Stephenson has a pocketful of glee to be working
with Joe and BJ on Hodgepodge shenanigans. Brad’s recent acting
roles include Peter in the Summer Company production of Relative Values
and Ray in the Thank You, Felix production of Lonestar. He produces, directs
and acts for Future 10, the 10-minute play festival held each November
at the downtown art space Future Tenant. In September, Brad will be directing
a mainstage show for the Pittsburgh new Works Festival. Brad’s upcoming
performances include Seth in Robert Isenberg’s new play Where the
Woodbine Twineth and Bradley in the Pittsburgh premiere of Mr. Marmalade.
When he isn’t making a complete ass of himself on stage, Brad is
the project director for the Center for Arts Management and Technology
at Carnegie Mellon University. He usually makes an ass of himself there,
too.
In March, Brad will be appearing in the musical production of “Brokeback
Mountain,” featuring his three rousing tenor solos:
-“Why Can’t I Quit You?”
-“’Member Last Night in the Tent… That was Awesome
but it doesn’t Change the Fact that You Owe Me a Pair of Underwear”
-“Why Do You Slap Me When We Kiss?”
(This is a joke. Please don’t flood Ticketmaster with calls.)
